10-Year Vision
September 2016
We envision Living Water as a close church family – always growing, changing and moving – as we continually seek to impact neighborhoods and communities here around the world.
We envision Living Water growing to 600 people in worship; organized into 60 missional communities that holistically impact local neighborhoods with the gospel.
We envision owning a building that provides space for worship AND community groups (other churches, schools, and government entities); bringing our community together as we practically demonstrate the love of Christ.
We envision every member actively sharing their faith - at home, at work, and in the community – resulting in more than 125 people experiencing believer’s baptism every year.
We envision helping those who are hurting, discouraged, addicted and depressed by offering Celebrate Recovery Groups and supporting a Biblical Guidance Center.
We envision a robust high school and college ministry that develops students to become leaders of the next generation; mobilizing them into our region as missionaries for Kingdom Impact.
We envision Living Water as a Church Planting Church; starting with a Bible teaching church for the homeless and needy in Poughkeepsie and multiplying new churches regionally (southward toward NYC and eastward toward Connecticut), nationally and internationally.
We envision a church-planting network that encourages church planters and develops and trains two interns every year for our region and abroad. The network is ever growing; bringing other likeminded churches together to reach the region with the gospel.
We envision a global mission strategy that focuses on sharing the gospel and planting churches to the most needy; beginning in Haiti and moving outward to other countries where members are making a significant Kingdom impact through their effort and investment.
We envision ministry teams being sent out to help other churches and meet community needs including music teams, mission teams, evangelism teams, preaching/teaching teams, construction teams, block party teams, cooking teams and much more for the purpose of showing God’s love to The Church and our fellow man…
